Treat a Latex Adhesive Allergic Skin Rash - Identify what type of reaction you are having. It could be irritant contact dermatitis. This is the least dangerous type of reaction. It is known as a nonallergic skin reaction. Symptoms are dryness, itching, burning, scaling and wounds on the skin.

Use a hydrocortisone cream to help with any burning or itching you may be experiencing. It won't make the rash go away, but it will give you some relief. You could also try an antihistamine, such as Benadryl, to help with mild symptoms.

When you visit the dentist or any doctor's office, let the office staff know before your appointment so they can take extra precautions.
